It is well known that there are numerous negative effects on the body and brain that are associated with cannabis. In the past, this was our biggest concern. However, today, there is an even bigger concern that has even health officials raising awareness. Many other dangerous substances are being infused with marijuana. But the ones that I am going to focus on in this post are Fentanyl, Xylazine, and Carfentanil. I know, I know, we have all heard about Fentanyl until we're sick of hearing about it right. But do you know that it is 50 times more potent than heroin and 100 times more potent than morphine? Did you know that only 2mg of Fentanyl is considered to be a lethal dose? Have you heard of Xylazine? It is an animal tranquilizer that drug users are injecting into their bodies. The biggest characteristic of Xylazine is a huge gaping wound at the injection site. The wound is due to the flesh-eating agents that are in the substance. It has been dubbed the "zombie drug." Have you heard of Carfentanil? It happens to be a synthetic opioid that is a derivative of Fentanyl. Here is the crazy part, just when you think that there could be nothing more dangerous than Fentanyl, here comes Carfentanil. Carfentanil is 100 times more potent than Fentanyl and 10,000 times more potent than morphine. That's right, 10,000 times! The scariest part is that the exact amount for a lethal dose in humans for this substance is unknown. However, it has been stated that as little as 1 microgram or 0.001 mg can induce a lethal human response. Carfentanil was originally used to anesthetize very large animals like elephants! This isn't your parent's hippie weed anymore. Even the potency of marijuana has increased. Back in the 1960s, marijuana was at 3% potency. Not terrible, but still not good for you. However, today the potency of marijuana is seen at potency rates of 20% up to 100%! The Kratom, Delta 8, and all of the other "legal THC" you see around in different "smoke shops" that are in your communities, that stuff isn't any better. A person that uses drugs don't really know what they're getting anymore. Tell me what you think about this blog post.
